Last week was a week that I will never forget. I went back to school with Jo Malone London and it was the most fun, creative and inspiring school ever! If only my whole childhood was as fun! We kicked off the experience at the Jo Malone London Townhouse, where we were separated into classes and began with a delicious breakfast. We then had different ‘lessons’. From learning to label our own candles, to the art of wrapping, we are now officially Jo Malone London perfectionists! Did you know that each Jo Malone London candle is touched by 16 pairs of hands? Now that’s a fact that blew me away, but at the same time, I wasn’t surprised. The attention to detail of the brand is like no other and that’s really what I admire.
We also spent the day being whisked around in style by Jo Malone London cabs and were treated to the most incredible experiences. First on the list was to have afternoon tea which was beyond delicious and visually blew me away. There’s nothing more divine in London than afternoon tea! Next stop was a Jo Malone London arcade. This totally brought me back to my childhood and we had the best fun playing all of the games and did our best to win all of the goodies of course! We finished the day in the pub (of course!) and I learnt how to pull the perfect pint with Reem. We laughed a lot and I was actually pretty impressed with my pint pulling skills!
Jo Malone London really is the best British brand, and it was a total honour to be part of such a fantastic experience. My favourite outcome of the whole adventure (aside from graduation!!) was that I actually found a new favourite fragrance combining combination! I used to wear Peony & Blush Suede with Tuberose Angelica, but I discovered that Peony & Blush Suede actually combines in the most divine way with another floral, Velvet Rose & Oud. I swear it is going to blow you away!
